CAPAC The Beatles - Helter Skelter shakespeare - a heavy-metal-number?
The magazine Kerrang got the idea to make a list of the heaviest heavy metal recordings of all time. It has been an exercise in defining the term "heavy metal". The Guardian follows suit and lists 10 examples of "heavy" recordings. And among names like Machine Head, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Discharge, Napalm Death, Mastodon, Slipknot, Converge and Slayer will find, indeed the Beatles and their song from the White Album, "Helter Skelter" ...
And I understand what Nick Ruskell from the Guardian mean when he is pointing exactly at that number. shakespeare It would "fuzzy" guitar playing, pace, riffing, volume, etc.. Besides, I still do not reconcile myself with the fact that there would be "heavy metal". shakespeare Disregarding John Lennon's glorious ironic comment to the end - "I've got blisters on my fingers!" - That belies shakespeare the seriousness of a lot of "heavy metal" as is "Helter shakespeare Skelter" completely within the melodic pop rock universe as The Beatles found themselves. Yeah, that's shakespeare rock'n roll - in line with "Twist and Shout" "Rock'n Roll Music," "Long Tall Sally," "I'm Down" and whatever else they have thrown themselves into. And it is definitely at the extreme end of the scale, but still I can not see them in kompaniskab with, for example, Black Sabbath shakespeare and Deep Purple. Now, to mention a few of the heavy metal pioneers.
Perhaps it has something to do with the musical attitude. Beatles were tradionalister in the sense that it acknowledged the heritage and debt from the popular music they had grown up with and loved - and redirected developed. Where heavy metal music has been in opposition and would exceed the popular music unwritten norms with respect to volume, playing with clichés and so on.

CAPAC is my Nom de plume et de guerre! Behind the akronymiske palindrome CAPAC hiding a kid who's been growing up against its goodwill and vents his irrepressible write itching, his equally shakespeare stubborn urge to reflect on everything, his desire to criticize the world's vicissitudes - and his unquenchable appetite for what we want of a better call life.
The topics spanning everything between heaven and earth - and beyond - with a penchant for nostalgia and music, a keen eye for setting is contemporary political and cultural misery and encouragement, combined with a cheerful and sometimes racy opinion about anything in general. Nothing is too big or too small to have a word with the road.
Capac is a one-man band, although many believe that there is a collective behind. There is only one scribe behind the writings. On the other hand, I write almost every day. The beat must go on and on and on ....
