The World Island - Thorne forest and waterfalls Skog David Varga 01/17/12 On this trek, legally classified as one of the most beautiful in Iceland, I was able to see many of the typical attractions that Iceland has to offer. I started to camp in the valley between the three glaciers, even at night directly under the aurora borealis, went to places where the 2010 Eyjafjallajokull erupted, stroll around the top of the volcano only a year old and I finished the whole trip along the more than ten breathtaking waterfalls.
Approaching the last weekend of August, the weather forecast looked very promising and I still remained on the list of "must see in Iceland" trek from Thorsmork to Skogar as allegedly one of the most beautiful on the island. From work I released earlier on Friday james bond skyfall and went there. This time I took a bus at the Thorsmork - "Thor's Forest", where I rear ended a popular month for me and probably the most beautiful Laugavegur trek and stay in a local camp Húsadalur excellent.
